Call for submissions
Students from colleges and relevant courses at the Universities in the South West are invited to submit their final year pieces which we will screen in front of an audience of fellow students, lecturers and professionals within the creative industry. This is a great opportunity to showcase your final piece and show the city the talent emerging within the area.

We are also putting together a showreel: The Best of Student Film to be submitted to the BBC for screening at The Big Screen Event in the city centre during Wimbledon fortnight. So, if you submit your work to the Celebration of Student Film and your work meets the BBC’s family viewing criteria you could see your film on the big screen.

How to…

To ensure your film is shown at the best quality please submit it as avi or QuickTime data DVD to:

Email address
Brief description of your film for programme (no more than 100 words)
Whether you will be present and if you are prepared to introduce your work yourself (although this may sound scary to some we make sure that it’s all very relaxed and friendly and there are advantages)
